Jay Z and Beyoncé go Apes**t in the Louvre
Jay-Z and Beyoncé team up as The Carters and deliver incredible visuals for their new single Apes**t.
Jay-z and Beyoncé have been making music together forever, but this is the first time the power couple releases collaborative music since Mr.Carter publicly confessed and apologized to being unfaithful to his longtime wife. The release of Apes**t also comes after Beyoncé’s emotional Lemonade album, a body of work that details the hurt Queen B felt amidst her husband’s infidelity. All of these personal issues surrounding their lives makes this song exceptionally important. A monumental release deserves a monumental video, thus explains the powerful imagery directed by Ricky Zais.
The video is filmed in none other than the Louvre in Paris. Jay-Z’s love for the art is public knowledge at this point, still, the video’s setting takes his love of art to the next level. The historic setting, combined with excellent directing and choreography make the song a work of art itself.
Apes**t comes as The Carters release of their surprise album “Everything is Love” now streaming everywhere.
