Elvis's Revolver Going Under Hammer

How do you justify a 275,000 dollar price tag on a  Smith and Wesson .357 from the 1970’s? How about engraving a bear, mountain lion, moose, and a bobcat out of silver silver and gold, while inlaying the handle with ivory. One more thing, the gun belonged to Elvis Presley, the Elvis Presley.

Elvis acquired the gun in the 1970’s while living in Beverly Hills. Rather than treat the pistol like an art piece and leave it at home on display, The king of rock brought the gun wherever he could. He even brought it into the white house and tried to gift it to Vice President Spiro Agnew. Although the gun is rumoured to sale for 275,000, there is no official price on the masterpiece.
