This Secret Pool House Is Perfect
The talented people at Italian architecture firm Act Romegialli have designed a private getaway in a scenic garden.
What do you do when you have a lot of money, a gorgeous garden, and a love for swimming and relaxation? You have Italian architects design you the nicest private pool house ever, and then hide it away in your expertly landscaped backyard. Dubbed La Piscina del Roccolo, it was built for a client who requested the pool house mesh harmoniously with their vibrant green garden.
The design of the hidden spa/pool is sleek and minimalist, and is made of materials like concrete, wood, and glass. Leading to the house is a small bridge over a pond, lined with flowers and large stones, and surrounded by lush shrubs and trees. Once inside the pool house, visitors will feel instantly transported into a stress free environment. The curved pool faces large glass windows, letting in plenty of sunlight with a picturesque lookout.
Further down the hall, planks of polished wood act as walls without closing off the open-concept floor plan. A small kitchen can be found at the back, fully furnished with wooden cupboards and stainless steel appliances. Near the kitchen is a small dining area complete with cushioned chairs and a wooden desk. It's safe to say this is the probably the nicest private spa I've seen, it marries tranquility and simplicity with the soothing sounds and sights of a nature park.
