Straight Outta Compton (Trailer)

During the 49th Super Bowl, we were given a three and a half minute trailer for the NWA biopic.

The trailer includes a short introduction features a dialogue between two of the original members Ice Cube & Dr. Dre. The pair roll through the streets of Compton engaging in conversation with Game at a barber shop and Kendrick Lamar at a cantine talking about the importance of NWA in their past and what the group meant to them individually. Staring O'Shea Jackson Jr. (The son of Ice Cube) and Corey Hawkins (Iron Man 3) playing the younger versions of the NWA superstars along with Jason Mitchell (Broken City) as Easy-E, Aldis Hodge (The Walking Dead/Bones) as MC Ren & Neil Brown Jr. (Battle Los Angeles/Fast & Furious) as DJ Yella. Directed by F. Gary Gray (Law Abiding citizen/Friday/Be Cool) and produced by Dr. Dre & Ice Cube.

The trailer in question takes us through a narrative synonymous with the "rapper lifestyle", everything from the naked pool parties, agitating the public, fans rioting, police strong arming the group, studio sessions, betrayals & hard times coming up. All while what we know of the NWA story gets displayed with "Straight Outta Compton" & "Fuck The Police" playing. The biopic seems of "Notorious" proportions.
