Health tips for the businessman on the go

Here is a series of total body routines designed for the businessman on the go.

Many of my clients are always on the go. If they’re not in town, they’re travelling all over the world, going from meeting to meeting. They have little time to exercise. Staying in shape while traveling can be difficult. You may not always have access to a gym and, even if you do, it may not be equipped with the weights or machines that you need for an awesome workout. These gyms often carry a couple of cardio machines and a variety of tiny weights.  That is not enough! Body weight exercises won’t give you the same workout that a great weight set will, but when completed correctly, it will burn a ton of fat, give you a killer boost of energy, and keep you sharp for a day full of meetings.

1. Complete each exercise in the prescribed order 2. Rest 1 min (60 sec) before completing remaining sets

Nutri-Tips On the Go

When you’re in and out of airports, hotels, and different cities, it is difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle. But, good nutrition is essential, whatever the time zone. Here are some tips to keep your diet in order during your travels.

Tip #1 Stay Hydrated About 75% of muscle tissue is comprised of water. It is used to regulate body temperature, cushion and support joints and organs and aid in digestion.  It’s extremely important to replace the water that your body uses each day.

Tip #2 Never Feel Hungry Many of my new clients skip meals or simply forget to eat. Always keep snacks with you. Pack some raw veggies. Nuts are a great, too!
