World renowned fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto is the subject of a new short film, which follows him around Tokyo and explores his day to day routines.

Directed by Matthew Donaldson and titled Getting There, it has Yamamoto and his Akita named Rin taking a drive to a Tokyo cemetery. Yamamoto prefers to drive his 1980's Nissan Cedric rather than the expensive luxury cars he's had in the past, as it's more soothing and subtle. He walks through the silent cemetery and reflects on his success as a designer and his meditative thought process when he's on the road. Check out the film above to find out more.
